Newest Customer Driven Enhancements Are Previewed

Atlanta, GA (August 1) In keeping with the proven track record of meaningful enhancements, DiscipleConnect has released the following preview of the latest new features and feature enhancements. DiscipleConnect's frequent upgrades and enhancements offer client churches assurance that they are on the forefront of the latest technologies. And, as always, upgrades and enhancements are included as part of the DiscipleConnect relationship in each of the program levels.

Seasonal Headers allow your site's graphic appearance to be easily adjusted to reflect the time of year, or even a particular date or event. Bring the seasons to the web for your church using local images or stock photos that keep the site fresh and interesting while maintaining consistent look and feel of the site.

• Individual graphic appearance may reflect a specific date or range of dates
• May be set to reuse the the same series of headers every year.
• May use your existing site style or begin with a completely new header
  (limited fees may apply on requests for complete new header designs)

Calendar will be updated with a more compact year view along with updated month, week, and day views. The fresh new graphics will be more crisp and pleasing to the eye. Also, it will support events that are a "point in time" and event start and end times will be every 5 minutes rather than 15.

Menu System will offer the the ability to add sub-menus that are activated when hovering over a menu item and top menus as an alternative to left side significantly enhancing navigational choices.

Commercial Directory will include mailing lists which provides a simple interface for retailers and restaurants to communicate with residents. The non-public nature of the email list means that individual retailers may be allowed to send emails to a commercial directory mailing list without having direct access to the recipient email addresses.

• Settings for opt-in and opt-out from any commercial directory mailing or opt-out of emails from individual retailers and Emails include a customizable disclaimer and unsubscribe link.
• Easy controls for limiting ability of a retailer to send emails or use a "Scheduled Mailer" setting for sending combined emails, rather than allowing retailers to email individually.
• Includes an optional approval queue allowing administrators to approve emails before sending.
